Ophel Excavation co-director Dr. Orit Peleg-Barkat discusses the discovery of an early Roman Period ashlar stone with a builder’s mark. The Ophel Excavation in Jerusalem is a joint project of the Institute of Archaeology of Hebrew University and the Armstrong Institute of Biblical Archaeology in association with the National Parks Authority, East Jerusalem Development Company and the Israel Antiquities Authority.
