Tel Dan Stele Grand Opening Ceremony

The Armstrong Institute of Biblical Archaeology, the Armstrong International Cultural Foundation, the Israel Museum–Jerusalem and the Israel Antiquities Authority announce that the world-famous Tel Dan Stele archaeological artifact will be displayed for public viewing from September 22 through November 25 at Armstrong Auditorium on the campus of Herbert W. Armstrong College in Edmond, Oklahoma.

The Tel Dan Stele is arguably the most important artifact ever discovered from the world of biblical archaeology, containing the earliest mention of King David and dates from the ninth century b.c.e.

A special grand opening ceremony will be held at Armstrong Auditorium at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 22. The program will last one hour and will feature guest speakers Dinesh D’Souza and Gerald Flurry, as well as musical celebrations. Admission is free and tickets are required for entry. A live stream will be available on the Armstrong Institute home page.

This sensational monumental fragment is on loan from the Israel Museum and will be featured as part of the “Kingdom of David and Solomon Discovered” exhibit. The exhibit is open through January 2025, and admission is free.
