Touring the Bible’s Buried Cities: Jezreel

Featuring a look at Naboth’s vineyard

Jezreel was an important site in the ancient kingdom of Israel. It is particularly well known from the biblical account as the location of Naboth’s vineyard, where a series of murderous events resulted in the end of Ahab and Jezebel’s dynasty. It’s also an important archaeological site where, in recent years, tantalizing archaeological evidence relating to Naboth’s vineyard has been uncovered. On today’s show, host Christopher Eames reviews the biblical account—and the archaeological evidence relating to it.
