The Seal of Isaiah

The prophet-king relationship between Isaiah and King Hezekiah was a powerhouse for ancient Israel. Though King Hezekiah was well documented in Assyrian artifacts, no secular evidence had ever been found for the prophet Isaiah—until now!

In an earth-shattering event, Dr. Eilat Mazar’s Ophel excavations uncovered a collection of significant bullae in 2009. Within this collection were two bullae inscribed with two very significant names: Hezekiah, King of Judah; and Isaiah, NVY.
