Last Chance to See the Tel Dan Stele at Armstrong Auditorium!
Attention Bible history and archaeology enthusiasts! This week is your last chance to see the Tel Dan Stele on display at Armstrong Auditorium in Edmond, Oklahoma. This item—arguably the most important artifact in biblical archaeology—is on display as part of our “Kingdom of David and Solomon Discovered” exhibit, featuring nearly 50 artifacts—some on display for the very first time—together with maps, models, virtual reality headsets and more. Each of these features illustrate the size and scope of the kingdom of the biblical kings David and Solomon.
The wider exhibit will be open to the public until Jan. 30, 2025. This coming Sunday, December 1, however, will be the final day to see the Tel Dan Stele at Armstrong Auditorium before it leaves for the Jewish Museum in New York. A quality replica will be installed in its place for the remainder of our exhibit.
Admission to “Kingdom of David and Solomon Discovered” is free of charge. To book a tour, please click here. Opening hours are Monday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday/Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibit will be closed this Thursday, November 28, for Thanksgiving Day. The address for the exhibit is Armstrong Auditorium, 14400 S. Bryant, Edmond, OK 73034.
